I am a communications professional with over 20 years’ experience working on communications and campaigns. I have worked in the private, public and charity sector. I am a creative and practical team player with sound judgement.

My most recent projects have included managing the redesign of  the new website for Just for Kids Law including: fundraising to finance the project and leading the conceptual and content development; identifying key stake holders for the research stage; photography; writing and editing content as well as developing technical expertise in word press. I was responsible for finding the right agency, presenting the concept to the Board of trustees, directing the agency and managing the budget. I delivered the project on time and on budget.

I have recently project managed the 2017 impact report for Just for Kids Law. I managed the project from initial concept to delivery of the finished  project on time and on budget.

As Co-Director of Communications and Campaigns for Just for Kids Law I worked on the successful #nochildincells campaign which ultimately achieved the desired response from government.  Working with the CEO I managed the conceptual development of the campaign film and devised key messages for the digital and media campaign. We achieved extensive national media coverage from the Victoria Derbyshire show to the Daily Mail.  Our Facebook engagement increased by 11,273.7% during the first week of the campaign.

As Co-Director of Communications and Campaigns I worked on the Let US Learn campaign which led to a change in the law at the Supreme Court. The campaign has grown into a youth-led movement working to ensure equal access to higher education and promoting the conditions by which young migrants can fully contribute to British Society. The campaign was singled out in The Guardian as: one of ‘an inspiring new wave of campaigns making a real difference to people’s lives’.

As head of communications for a national public body, employing over 1,000 staff,  I was responsible for all press, PR, publications, website, public information leaflets, and helped produce the annual report.  I managed and mentored the team for over 7 years and reported to the CEO.
